JAPAN VOLCANO: 40 INJURED, 7 NOT FOUND, 1 DEAD



              It was just reported that a volcanic eruption which occurred before noon on Saturday (Japan time) on a 3km Mount Ontake in #Japan has rendered at least 7 people missing and 40 injured and 1 recorded dead.Most of these victims were lodger  who were stranded and unable to quickly come down at the time of the eruption. this eruption has ejected a very large amount of ash into the air which is really made it difficult for the police to survey from above with the use of helicopter. This ash got intensified through the night which, at first displaced not less than 250 people but most of them were above to make the way out.

             Mount Ontake is about 207 kilometer from the country capital, Tokyo, due west touching the borders of Nagano and Gifu prefectures on Honshu, the main Japanese island. Japan metreological agency described the eruption very intense rating it 3 on a 1 to 5 scale and urge people to stay far away from the area of eruption as the ash and other debris could travel as far as 4 kilometers away. This will mark the latest major eruption since 1979.
