GOOGLE GLASS : TESTED UNDERSEA BY ASTRONAUTS TO CHECK ITS EFFECTIVENESS IN SPACE

NASA is actually looking forward to using Google Glass for effective operations in space. A team of sub-sea astronauts, some few days ago, went undersea to test-run the new innovative technologies (Google Glass and other devices ) to stay current on scheduled tasks for easy life in space. The test was carried out the at the NASA Aquarius habitat, 62-feet(19-meter) underwater, off the coast of Florida. The space technology sea trial came with spectacular simulated underwater spacewalks during the NASA Extreme Environmental Mission Operation (NEEMO) program. The Google Glass was used to help the astronauts keep track of their schedule tasks in space and a Bluetooth heart rate monitor to improve on what the International Space Station uses at any point in time. Initially, a test-run was made on the heart rate monitor to see whether a harsh condition will interfere in the information it transmits, fortunately, indication showed the monitor still worked effectively. However, there's still need for improvement as it was reported that the screen still need a great deal of scrolling tech and also was inconvenient to read at the corner of their vision. Subsequent testing will still take place in NEEMO's next operations, hopefully in September.
Good news for the Google Guys, right? What's your take on this?
