CHINESE GROWS PEER FRUIT IN THE SHAPE OF BABY BUDDHA...

As they say, "You Buddha Believe It",buy it is true...It's all happening in Hexia village in Herbia, Northern #China. A Chinese farmer,Hao Xianzhang, has been in the quest of growing #fruits in various bizarre shapes. For six years, he has been in the quest of the invention and it has come to reality. So far, tens of thousands of such rare shapes have been created in his orchard and now he plans to export them to Europe. At £5, it's not too bad a price, people living in the village where the orchard is situated are already snapping them up as they found them so marvelous and fortunate to have them.
There is a plastic mold in the shape of the baby #Buddha that will be used to house the peers when they are just growing. As it gets bigger and fills up the mold, the mold is then removed while the peers starts growing in the shape. The farmer also is trying to apply same thing on other fruits like cucumber, watermelon.
