EBOLA THERAPY: US TURNED DOWN NIGERIA REQUEST TO ZMAPP DRUG ACCESS

Nigeria Health Minister, onyebuchi Chukwu had, earlier, said the Federal Government (FG) will seek access to the new seem-to-be-working US therapy on the reigning #Ebola virus in the Western region of #Africa but the #US have rejected such request. This therapy has actually been tested on the two US national #doctors who were infected with the disease in #Liberia in the effort to treating victim, but were flown back to United States. They said both of them are responding to treatment but two issues came up, as it was claimed, the therapy is still on experimental stage so it is not yet certain if it is the #drug that is really effective and secondly, there is currently no sufficient dose to be released to any other country. The manufacturer claimed that it will take like 3 months to produce even amount that will help. US president also claimed that a country should be able to control the disease if the country's Health Infrastructure is outstanding.
This is where I get baffled most, #Nigeria is not yet gotten into "Good" infrasture, not to talk of "outstanding".  Doctors just suspended thier strike action, so many other setback that i can't start mentioning. I just hope Nigeria will make an effort to, at least, level up as this could kill the whole nation. #God bless The World
