Good news for me, I don't know about you. Soldiers have decided to take up the challenge by attacking the Islamic sect. in Balmo forest which lasted throughout the weekend. Balmo forest is the forest that link Bauchi to Jigawa states (both in North-eastern Nigeria) and it's one of the main camp of Bokoharam, one of the places they come out launching attack on innocent people in the country. they were completely rooted out while some were,fortunately, captured, Director of defense Information, Major General Chris Olukolade revealed. Although, the number of insurgent arrested were not disclosed both two(2) foreigners who are suspected to be macineries were amoung them. Also recovered were various sophisticated weapons,communicating equipments, vehicles, motocycles,foodstuff and kitche utensils.
Almost at the same period, troop of soldiers went on patrol around Banki and Miyanti in Borno state and fought terrorist who laid ambush and both sides recorded casualties.6 soldiers were lost. God bless Nigeria!!
