SEEMS NIGERIAN PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN IS SERIOUS ABOUT HIS COMMITMENT TO PROVIDING AFFORDABLE HOUSES,RIGHT?

Many problems to be solved in Nigeria. Unemployment,Power,Housing, Good Governance,Agriculture etc...As it is known it takes time to cover all these which is not meant to be solved in a year, not even four(4) or ten(10) but what matters most is COMMITMENT.

President Goodluck Jonathan's administration, so far, has been addressing key issues affecting the country, example is the power(electricity) issue which he expects to be abated in very few year. Also unemployment issue which he has set up SURE-P to reduce unemployment by creating not less than 1.6 million jobs last year from up to four(4) of Federal Government initiatives and still working tirelessly to do more. Now its housing problem, noting that housing has been a major problem in the country with not less than 20 million people homeless which has made the estimation about 700,000 housing unit to be constructed annually to meet the Millennium development Goal. President Goodluck Jonathan now as decided to make an effort towards the contribution of housing unit in Nigeria.
Recently,on Friday in Enugu, eastern state of Nigeria,  Jonathan affirmed the commitment of his administration towards providing affordable homes for Nigerians as he insisted that it is very vital in social and economic development of any country .Commissioning a 324 completed housing units in Elim estate,Enugu state, said the Federal Government will not relent to providing more affordable houses across the country.

I just hope this will be at the heart of the president as he continues to do his part in shaping the shapeless metal. God Bless Nigeria
