In order to improve its video ads sales, Facebook has decided to absorb LiveRail . A deal price that was not disclose will improve the connection between marketers and publishers on mobile and web targeting up to 7 billion video ads monthly.
LiveRail automatically sells video ads for publishers rather than negotiating deals over the phone or face-to-face. Publishers can easily upload the video stock directly to LiveRail system and help solicit for buyer in a real-time auction and can also be used to process upfront deals skipping the stress of paper-work. This new development will help Facebook speed up it desire to be the main HUB over the web and mobile.
LiveRail who made up to $100 million in 2013 and was promising for a revenue increase of 300% year-over- year was considering an IPO at the last quarter of 2014 but Facebook seemed to have made a better offer. BIGGER NETWORK, BIGGER FACEBOOK !!
