It was revealed in an Italian newspaper,Italian La Repubblica, by Pope Francis that at least 2% of the clergy people in the world are paedophiles, which mean 1 in every 50 clergy get attracted to children sexually. It is affirmed that there are up to 414,000 clergy in the world and at least 8000 of them will fall in this group, among this people are priests, bishops and cardinals. He however vows to confront such situation with severity that it demands. He later on said in his words, "Like Jesus, I shall use stick against paedophile priests" as this state of affair is intolerable to him.
Mafia and Paedopilia are the two issue Pope Francis talked about which raised but he's more concerned about the participation of the clergies which caused controversies within out outside the church. He also emphasised that child corruption is the most unclean imaginable.
Last year, Pope Francis has fortified the Vatican law again child abuse and early this month pled for forgiveness from victim of this abuse from priest and meeting with them when he got elected. This is pathetic as people who are expected to be epitomes are the ones breaking the rules. May be they should allow them to get married,or what do you think?
