The long awaited election has come and gone and the emerging winner has surfaced. Three major parties ,Poeple's Democractic Party(PDP), All Progressive Congress(APC) and Labour Party (LP)were vying for this seat. Few days before the election day, there had been a lot activities and antagonism between among the parties which led some of the state visitors and businessmen being ejected of the state at that period due to security reasons as claimed by the Federal Government. Many of the APC governor were claimed to have been denied entrance. I then asked myself, what was actually their mission? The Commisioner of Police was releieved and represented with the Inspector General with his assistant, over 1000 police and soldiers deployed all in the name of attaining free and fair election. Anyway, I congratulate Ayo Fayose for his recent success as this is another chance for him to prove his capabilities and clean the dirts created in his last tenure which showing on his white attire.
My question now is, have the Ekiti people really made the right choice? The one who is going to lead them for the next four(4) years.Who will provide the essential services as Olusegun Mimiko(Governor,Ondo state), Rauf Aregbesola (Governor, Osun state), Abiola Ajumobi (Governor, Oyo state) to mention few. So far PDP has not really made an outstanding landmark both in the federal and state level (no sentiment), will this be a chance for the PDP member to convince the Ekiti and Nigerian citizens at large. I just hope the state have made the wise choice by choosing Ayo Fayose with their hands. We await the manifestation of his Agenda.
