The Defence Minister said today that at least 53 suspected terrorists were killed today in thier camps in Miyanti and Bulungu, both in Borno state. Although the troop who attacked them lost two of their men while 5 secured injuries. In the battle point, the troop found a fuel dump which was used for storing fuel, Toyota Hilux vehicle and motocycle which were destroyed instantly. Also the troop found 15 rifles and 11 machine guns and 25 grenades. The suspected gunrunner who was arrested during the cordon-and -search operation of the troops was apprehended and interrogated which gave the connection the afore-mentioned materials.
