This incidence happened around 12.30 pm after the boat took off from Ojo area and heading towards Tincan- Coconut. It ran into a very large wave created by a larger ship. In an attempt to outrun the bigger ship, according to reports, let the operator to move over the wave which unfortunately for him raised the boat into the air and landed with its side. Many of the passengers were already panic and were struggling to get saved, guess that was what caused a lot of injuries. So far many passengers were recused by nearby local swimmers and one (1) body is yet to be found.
My question is, is it efficient or rational for people to make use of local water transportation or government should provide more effective means?
