MICROSOFT TO SHUT DOWN MSN MESSENGER AND TRANSFER EFFORT TO SKYPE

I know this is going to be a bad news for MSN users, well personally, I feel its another good news. Microsoft has decided to shut down MSN Messenger to focus on Skype. MSN messenger which was later rebranded to Window Live Messenger; has been for the past 15 years and has over  330 million active users since four years, is not a deliberating issue for Microsoft company since Skype is showing a brighter promising future. Microsoft bought Skype in May 2011 for a whooping amount of $8.5 billion has been able to attract not less than 80 million since then. It (Microsoft) will move all its service and its users to Skype by Oct 31st. So far, MSN messenger user are able to sign in to Skype automatically except for China which will be concluded in few months time, say October that was previously stated. To also encourage easy transfer, Microsoft has decided to offer free credit on Skype to all MSN messenger users.
Though, the reason for the shut-down action still baffle some poeple, most especially the app old users, one who deduce its maybe the new Chief Executive has a better plan towards the action. Well, on my personal opinion, I feel Skype is already making name and growing at an intense rate compared to Windows Live Messenger which is getting obsolete. Hope you won't quote me wrong?
